COURSE OUTLINE

This VEU Installer CPD training module Weather Sealing Safely with Gas Appliances has been developed to provide installers with the skills and knowledge to be able to undertake weather sealing activities in compliance with the VEET Regulations.

As communicated in the VEU program update of 22 May 2023, installers will need to complete this training module with Green Business Audit & Training by 31 July 2023 in order to continue to undertake weather sealing activities under the VEU program on 1 August 2023 onwards.

Green Business Audit & Traing is the only training provider approved to deliver this learning module - See this announcement on the ESC website under Changes to Weather Sealing Activities . New Training Requirements at

Installers who need to complete this training module include:
.Installers who have completed the VU23076 unit (or previous equivalent VU units: VU21858 and VU21859)
.Licensed electricians, licensed plumbers (except those licensed to undertake gas fitting work, Type A appliance conversion work and/or Type A appliance servicing) and registered builders.

You cannot enrol on behalf of someone else - only personal enrolments are accepted.

Learning outcomes for this course:

-The roles and responsibilities of relevant regulatory bodies
-Information on safety risks and concerns re weather sealing when gas appliances are present
-Overview of ventilation requirements for gas appliances
-How to identify different types of home gas appliances
-Procedures to follow when deciding to undertake weather sealing
-How to communicate safety risks to the consumer.

Payment is due at the time of enrolment . course price is $75+ gst

Once we receive your enrolment and payment, we will provide you access to the online course via email usually within 4 business hours and you will have 14 DAYS to complete it.

After completing this enrolment form and payment, PLEASE SEARCH YOUR EMAILS FOR A SEPARATE EMAIL from noreply@solarrto.elearn.net.au. It provides your User name and Password to login to the online learning system (LMS) and get stated in your course.
