(NOTE: This is not a Battery Course. You must complete this course first before you can enrol in a Battery Course)

Dates: Design and Install: MON 8.30 am - FRI 4.30 pm- 5 FULL DAYS
Design Only or Install Only: As above but 4 days (No Fri)
Design for Accredited Installers: Mon and Fri only

In addition, precourse learning + submission of assessments required plus completion of post course learning and assessment.

Total course duration is 5 days face to face and UP TO 40-50 hrs online theory learniing and assessment. Your login to our online learning system is provided after you pay your course fee and you return a signed enroment form and we confirm your enrolment.

You can then commence the online learning and assessment at your own pace - final submiission date is 8 weeks after your last face-to-face class. Students with some solar design/install experience will be able to complete the course in a shorter time frame.

Design and Install $2595 - CSQ price $1507 (we claim $1088 from CSQ after you PASS THE COURSE)

Install Only $2095 - CSQ price $1580 (we claim $515 from CSQ after you PASS THE COURSE)

Design Only** $2095 - CSQ price $1522 (we claim $573 from CSQ after you PASS THE COURSE)

Design for Qualified Installers $1390 CSQ price $817 (we claim $573 from CSQ after you PASS THE COURSE)

*CSQ funding is available to eligible participants - you must prove you are eligible at the time of enrolment and at the time we claim your remianing course fee from CSQ.
You remain liable for the FULL COURSE FEE in the event you do not complete your studies in full. This includes if your employer pays part of your course fee.
No gst applies. Course fee includes learning resources and am/pm tea

* Engineers and others can complete this course but must also enrol in and complete an additional prerequisite unit of study UEERE0051 Apply Electrical principles to renewable energy design AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF $850 (DISCOUNTED FROM $950) and online study (up to 40 hrs). CSQ funding is not available for this study stream.

Full payment is required by the due date on your invoice.

As a registered training organisation (RTO), we collect your personal information so we can process and manage your enrolment in a vocational education and training (VET) course with us.

How we use your personal information


We use your personal information to enable us to deliver VET courses to you, and otherwise, as needed, to comply with our obligations as an RTO.

How we disclose your personal information


Solar Training Centre - Green Business Audit & Training are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.

We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your personal information to the relevant state or territory training authority.

How the NCVER and other bodies handle your personal information


NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the NVETR Act. Your personal information may be used and disclosed by NCVER for purposes that include populating authenticated VET transcripts; administration of VET; facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage; and understanding the VET market. NCVER is authorised to disclose information to the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), Commonwealth authorities, state and territory authorities (other than registered training organisations) that deal with matters relating to VET and VET regulators for the purposes of those bodies, including to enable:

  • administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
  • facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
  • understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.

NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER’s behalf.

NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.
