Applicants are not guaranteed of a funded place as funding eligibility criteria applies and places are limited.
If you are not offered a funded place, you may be offered a non-funded place which will be at our Fee for Service rate of $3500.00. Payment plans are available.

Entry Requirements:
To enrol in this qualification, participants should be working in, or aspiring to work in WHS as a supervisor or provide support for WHS in an organisation. Participants will require language, literacy and numeracy skills, access to computer and internet as well as computer literacy.

We need to ensure you are going to be able to complete the course assessments and have access to relevant resources and documentation.

1. What is your current employment - Job Title, Company & Industry?
2. Are you going to be able to access company WHS documentation and processes?
3. Are you in a position you can gather evidence in demonstrating and completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA),Safe Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Risk Assessment documents along with incident reports etc?

Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills (LLN) requirements. If you do not already hold an Australian Qualification of a Certificate IV or higher, you will need to complete our LLN quiz. This will be emailed to you to complete during your application processing and must be completed prior to your enrolment being confirmed This is to assist our trainers for your learning needs.

Course Structure
This Qualification is presented as a series of blocks for both facilitated face to face and virtual delivery and self-paced online learning students. You can start the course any time.
Face to face / virtual classes start at 8:45am to 4:00pm

Why we collect your personal information

As a registered training organisation (RTO), we collect your personal information so we can process and manage your enrolment in a vocational education and training (VET) course with us.

How we use your personal information

We use your personal information to enable us to deliver VET courses to you, and otherwise, as needed, to comply with our obligations as an RTO.

How we disclose your personal information

Pivot Solutions Pty Ltd trading as Mine Training Australia and Pivot Institute are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.

We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your information to the relevant state or territory training authority.

How the NCVER and other bodies handle your personal information

The NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the NVETR Act. Your personal information may be used and disclosed by NCVER for purposes that include populating authenticated VET transcripts; administration of VET; facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage; and understanding the VET market.

The NCVER is authorised to disclose information to the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE), Commonwealth authorities, State and Territory authorities (other than registered training organisations) that deal with matters relating to VET and VET regulators for the purposes of those bodies, including to enable:

  • administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
  • facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
  • understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.

The NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER's behalf.

The NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.
