We appreciate your interest in pursuing training with Axiom Compliance Learning.
This course is designed specifically for Fire Protection Technicians who are responsible for conducting non-trade installations, commissioning, and complex servicing of fire protection systems and Fire Safety Assessors with measures relating to hydrants and water suppression systems.

The course focuses on developing competencies relevant to the FPAS Qualified Accreditation test and inspect categories

Hydrants systems and Wall wetting

Practical Tasks

Students' practical tasks require them to develop various documents, service reports, and outcomes found in the industry. Tasks will be performed in the course in front of a workplace trainer and assessor. Any tasks not completed in the 5 day block will need to be completed as workplace tasks or additional assessment time can be scheduled for an additional fee.

The training is structured in a logical sequence to enable a step-by-step learning process. The activities are presented in a clear manner. They are directly linked to the course and industry information, allowing assessors to ascertain that students can competently apply their knowledge and skills.

The duration of the course is flexible, with students having up to 6 months to complete workplace task if assessments are not completed during class.

To assist students in their learning journey, Axiom Compliance Learning offers the expertise of highly skilled and motivated trainers and assessors with current industry experience. These professionals create an interactive, engaging, and supportive learning environment to facilitate learning. Additionally, the student management team is readily available to assist with questions and offer support with online coursework, ensuring that students receive the necessary guidance to succeed in their studies.

Computer Skills
Students need to be able to use common office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF.s and Web browsers.

The course is delivered in a 5-day block.

The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.

We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your personal information to the relevant state or territory training authority.

We are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). NCVER is authorised to disclose information to the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), Commonwealth authorities, state and territory authorities (other than registered training organisations) that deal with matters relating to VET and VET regulators for the purposes of those bodies, including to enable:

  • administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
  • facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
  • understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.

NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER’s behalf.

NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.
