This qualification provides Fire Protection Technicians with the certificates to assist in following the pathway to the "Qualified Accreditation" under FPAS NSW and Install and maintain Licence Class for Queensland building and construction commission QBCC.

CPP20521 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, is Nationally Recognised Training.
It is recognised throughout Australia by industry bodies, employers, accreditation schemes, and licencing applications. This course is the current release 3.

Licensing/Regulatory Information
Work in this area must be completed according to relevant legislative, industry, customer and organisational requirements, including occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.

The technician is not permitted to undertake any functions restricted to licensed trades or occupations such as particular installation, replacement, maintenance and repair functions.

Different states and territories may have regulatory mechanisms that apply to this qualification. Students are advised to check for regulatory limitations.

We have developed training resources such as online course training documentation, interactive templates and tutorial videos.
Additional to the course's online component, the student has scheduled zoom training sessions, participating via their computer or phone using via zoom platform.

Completion
Successful completion- students will receive the qualification CPP20521- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, and a record of results.
If all units are not completed within 6 months, a Statement of Attainment for completed units will be issued.

CPPFES2026 Inspect and test emergency and exit lighting systems
CPPFES2035 Identify, inspect and test fire and smoke doors
These 13 units are the current release 1.

Procedures after enrolment.
-After enrolling online, we will contact the student to discuss their suitability for training.

-Enrolment confirmation will be emailed, including the invoice. $1,000 per student will secure placement.

-Following the receipt of the full payment, we will confirm receipt via email, including the login details to commence training with the online component.

-Once the student has logged into our online learning platform, they can access course documentation, instructions, procedural videos & resources. The student has then commenced the course.

Axiom Compliance Learning are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.

We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your personal information to the relevant state or territory training authority.

  • administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
  • facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
  • understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.

NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER’s behalf.

NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.
