This course is designed for individuals seeking certification as fire protection technicians responsible for the inspection and testing of extinguishers, fire blankets, emergency lighting, fire doors and to fulfill the requirements for the registration of restricted plumbing work in "Hydrant and hose reel .test and inspect."
CPP20521 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, is Nationally Recognised Training.
It is recognised throughout Australia by industry bodies, employers, accreditation schemes, and licencing applications.

Licensing/Regulatory Information
Work in this area must be completed according to relevant legislative, industry, customer and organisational requirements, including occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
The technician is not permitted to undertake any functions restricted to licensed trades or occupations such as particular installation, replacement, maintenance and repair functions.Different states and territories may have regulatory mechanisms that apply to this qualification. Students are advised to check for regulatory limitations.
