CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations with crowd control Location: Bendat Community Centre, 36 Dodd Street, Wembley (free parking) Times: 9:00am - 4:00pm Morning Tea 15 minutes at approximately 10:30 and Lunch break 30 minutes at approximately 12:30 If you have a laptop please bring it with you as we provide some of your training material on USB. If you don.t have access to a laptop you can borrow one for the training. If your computer skills are limited, we can provide the materials to you in hardcopy. CPP20218 CERTIFICATE II IN SECURITY OPERATIONS 14 CORE UNITS (no elective units) CPPSEC2101 Apply effective communication skills to maintain security CPPSEC2102 Apply legal and procedural regulations to work effectively within a security team CPPSEC2103 Apply WHS, emergency response and evacuation procedures to maintain security CPPSEC2104 Apply risk assessment to select and carry out response to security risk situations CPPSEC2105 Provide quality services to a range of security clients CPPSEC2106 Protect self and others using basic defensive techniques CPPSEC2107 Patrol premises to monitor property and maintain security CPPSEC2108 Screen people, personal effects and items to maintain security CPPSEC2109 Monitor and control access and exit of persons and vehicles from premises CPPSEC2110 Monitor and control individual and crowd behaviour to maintain security CPPSEC2111 Apply security procedures to manage intoxicated persons CPPSEC2112 Apply security procedures to remove persons from premises CPPSEC2113 Escort and protect persons and valuables HLTAID011 Provide first aid Once you have completed all the units you will be required to do Paragon practice SAIWA test which takes approximately an hour, we can then provide you with feedback. CANCELLATION POLICY: We require three working days. notice if you wish to cancel your course then you will receive your refund less $75.00 administration fee. Once your course has commenced there is no refund, however you can transfer your enrolment one time into a future scheduled course. WA Police Licencing Information Knowledge test : Effective 1st February 2017, all applicants applying for Security Officer or Crowd Controller licences for the first time or whose licence has expired more than 12 months ago, are required to pass the knowledge test. There is only one provider for the testing process, if you are from a regional area then you can complete this at your local police station. Take identification (2 forms) and your training certificates with you. The examination will take a maximum of 45 minutes and consist of two parts: 1.20 Multiple Choice Questions pass mark 16/20 2.10 Short Written Answer Questions pass mark 8/10 Fee $75.62.00 payable directly to SAIWA when you book your appointment. Participants must successfully complete Section 1 in order to take part in Section 2 Participants will be provided with their results however will not be informed which questions were incorrect. Number of Test Attempts Explained: .If a participant fails to pass Section 1 of the test, they are able to have another attempt at the full assessment after a minimum of 24 hours. The second attempt will cost $27.50 Inc GST and must be paid upon booking the second attempt. .If a participant successfully completes Section 1 of the test but fails to pass Section 2, they are able to have another attempt at Section 2 only after a minimum of 24 hours at no cost. .If a participant fails either Section 1 or 2 of the test after two attempts, they must wait 1 month to attempt the test again. They will be required to book online and pay the assessment fee again and will have to undertake both Section 1 & 2 regardless of their previous results. If you have been in Australia less than five years or lived overseas for more than a year in the past five years you will require a police clearance from that country.
