Welcome to Strike Training and Consulting. Below is our registration form and information for Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218).

The cost of the course is $840. It includes training in Security Guard, Crowd Control, Terrorism Awareness, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid. We are also offering Construction White Card for an extra $60.00.

PLEASE NOTE: Do you have a criminal history (as this may affect your ability to gain a Licence after training).

COURSE FORMAT (Consecutive OR Flexible)

Our students are required to complete 120 hours of learning as required by WA Police Licensing.

.Our course is comprised of FACE TO FACE AND ONLINE LEARNING.

.Please arrive by 8:00AM on your first day.

.Your $300 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you do not attend on your first day, you will have to pay the $300 deposit again to re-book your start date.

.Students are able to complete their security qualification in 10 consecutive days of face to face (one extra day for first aid training).

.HOWEVER we also offer students FLEXIBLE LEARNING should you not be able to attend consecutive days.

.This format allows you to complete your qualification as quickly as you wish. You can complete the course in 10 days or up to 12 months its totally up to you!

PROCESS

To secure your position you are required to make a non-refundable deposit of $300.00 upon enrolment. Balance of the course fee is due by the first day of your face to face course. Your deposit holds your position in this course ONLY>

After enrolment, you will receive an email and temporary password shortly for your Student Portal.

Your student portal is where you will find your online course work and book your face to face classes.

.You must complete the online quizzes for Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 before your first day! (On the student portal).

.You can book your classes via your student portal. Please access your portal for instructions.

.Chapter 1 (Day 1) is already booked. This is the first day of your course.

.You can only attend one class per day! Do not book two chapters on the same date.

.You must attend Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 before attending any other class! Be careful when booking!

.You must attend Chapter 10 before Chapter 11&12; other chapters can be attended in any order.

.You can cancel a booking through your student portal.

.If you do not attend a class that you have booked, or fail to cancel before 8:00AM on the day of the class, then a $50 administration fee will be applied.

We ask that you bring your personal laptops for course work and have Microsoft word. If you do not have a laptop we have laptops available to hire at $10 per day (see reception).

Please note, if you pay your deposit but fail to attend on the first day of your course you will be required to pay the deposit again.

Assistance is available from our Facilitators and Administration staff should you require any support.

Payment by Credit Card or PayPal is accepted - payment options at the end of enrolment process.

Payment of the non-refundable deposit is required with enrolment. Non-payment will result in the enrolment being deleted.

Why we collect your personal information


As a registered training organisation (RTO), we collect your personal information so we can process and manage your enrolment in a vocational education and training (VET) course with us.

How we use your personal information


We use your personal information to enable us to deliver VET courses to you, and otherwise, as needed, to comply with our obligations as an RTO.

How we disclose your personal information


Strike Training and Consulting are required by law (under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cth) (NVETR Act)) to disclose the personal information we collect about you to the National VET Data Collection kept by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER). The NCVER is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing and communicating research and statistics about the Australian VET sector.

We are also authorised by law (under the NVETR Act) to disclose your personal information to the relevant state or territory training authority.

How the NCVER and other bodies handle your personal information


NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the NVETR Act. Your personal information may be used and disclosed by NCVER for purposes that include populating authenticated VET transcripts; administration of VET; facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage; and understanding the VET market. NCVER is authorised to disclose information to the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), Commonwealth authorities, state and territory authorities (other than registered training organisations) that deal with matters relating to VET and VET regulators for the purposes of those bodies, including to enable:

  • administration of VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation
  • facilitation of statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage
  • understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information.

NCVER may also disclose personal information to persons engaged by NCVER to conduct research on NCVER’s behalf.

NCVER does not intend to disclose your personal information to any overseas recipients.
