This Main Roads WA Accreditation Course provides participants with the theory and practical skills required to.monitor the effectiveness of traffic guidance schemes including adding and/or removing signs and devices within the scope and objectives of the Traffic Management Plan. .
This course is aimed at personnel in a Supervisory role, who are required to carry out risk management processes.
The WTM is a one(1) day course, which is delivered face to face.
Some post course work may be required.
PRE-REQUISITES
Main Roads WA Certificate of Accreditation . Basic Worksite Traffic Management
Statements of Attainment (minimum) for:
RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and work procedures.
RIICOM201E Communicate in the workplace.
RIIWHS302E Implement a traffic management plan accreditation
**NOTE: If you are unable to provide the above Statements of Attainment, you must then provide an extract from your USI account verifying that you have completed these units.
One (1) years. experience in traffic management, road asset management, road safety or two (2) years practical experience in road construction or maintenance.
CV or similar providing details of practical experience e.g. employer, job role, type of work undertaken, dates, etc.
A completed SWMS used on a worksite you have signed.
List a minimum of three worksites where you have undertaken traffic management duties in the previous 12 months (e.g. setting up signs/devices, controlling traffic, pedestrian management, etc.)
