The Refresher Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) course is the Main Roads WA requirement for those looking to renew their accreditation to work on or near roads in Western Australia. This course provides students with all the current rules and regulations whilst giving them the opportunity to brush up on their practical skills.
The BWTM Refresher course is delivered in 1 day and covers the following unit:
RIIWHS302E - Implement a traffic management plan
MANDATORY PRE-REQUISITES
RE-ACCREDITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-SIT THE FULL COURSE.
**All pre-req evidence must be submitted prior to the course
-Copy or photo of current / previous valid Australian OR Recognised Driver.s Licence - minimum probationary.
-Unique Student Identifier number (USI Number)
-Photo ID if no driver's licence
-Copy of Construction White Card / Safety Awareness Card
Statement of attainment or USI TRANSCRIPT for Basic Worksite Traffic Management including the following units
(N/A if previous student of Perth Traffic Training)
RIICOM201E (or equivalent) Communicate in the workplace
RIIWHS201E (or equivalent) Work safely and follow WHS policies and work procedures
RIIWHS302E (or equivalent) Implement a traffic management plan accreditation
BWTM Main Roads Certificate of Accreditation (N/A if previous student of Perth Traffic Training)
A completed SWMS or JSA used on a worksite you have signed
List a minimum of three (3) worksites where you have undertaken traffic management duties in the previous 12 months (e.g. setting up signs/devices, controlling traffic, pedestrian management, etc.)
Please ensure when completing enrolment form the email address and mobile number included is that of the student attending the training.

You have reviewed the refund policy, as well as the relevant course details available on this website including any required pre-requisites, have selected the correct course type and have been informed of the training and assessments services to be provided.
You hold the required course pre-requisites (where applicable) and will provide evidence of these for verification. Failure to supply evidence may result in training being rescheduled or accreditations unable to be issued.
The students name is spelt correctly as per their Unique Student Identifier (USI). All certification and accreditations will be issued using this spelling. Any accreditations that require an amendment may incur a replacement fee.
