Martyr Training Services is seeking expressions of interest for this Short Course in Basic Chainsaw and Polesaw Operation.
Topics include:
* chainsaw operation at basic levels from maintenace through to basic tree falling
* pole saw operation and aerial pruning techniques
* visual assessment of tree defects and growth characteristics
* environmental care procedures, including protection of native flora and fauna.
On successful completion of this short course, learners will recieve a Statement of Attainment for the units:
* FWPCOT2254 Maintain chainsaws
* FWPCOT2259 Cut materials with a hand held chainsaw
* FWPCOT2273 Trim and cut felled trees
* FWPCOT3301 Trim trees using a pole saw
