You are about to book participants in a Provide First Aid course.

Course Start date: 15 May 2025

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid provides course participants with the knowledge and skill to confidently recognise & respond effectively and safely to a first aid incident. Course participants will gain confidence in providing a first aid response, life support, management of casualties until qualified emergency support arrives.

This unit of competency is the advised minimum requirement for the Workplace First Aider (WHS legislation).


This qualification is delivered by our team of experienced trainers and assessors in a classroom setting

Participants are provided with the Learner manual upon enrolment or 7 days prior to the training commencement. It is expected the reading of the manual will take approximately 2-3 hours.

The assessor will demonstrate practical First Aid techniques and observe participants performing practical first aid tasks and techniques.

Minimum age for course participants is fourteen (14) years. It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least four (4) minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor. The trainee must be strong enough to perform CPR on an adult.

Assessment
Assessment is against the National Standard, which applies in all states and territories. Our assessors are fully licensed and accredited.
